Dear Cindi,

1. Yes, in my opinion, one can certainly have a single mattress i.e. and keep it away daily the next morning.

2. This is secondary to Feng Shui and I feel that this is a practical approach in the use of limited space within the home.

3. I have heard that some FS practitioners are (quite) concerned with sleeping on a single mattress (within a bed post).

As some of these FS practitioners (feel) that a bed should be `raised' so that Qi can flow under the bed. In my opinion, this is again of secondary or not as important as other FS concepts or theories. For example, it is more crucial to check for poison arrow(s) aimed towards a home or thru the windows.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
