Primarily, the Eight House Theory or the East-West Group should not be used to activate good luck sectors. It has more to do with:
1. How suitable the house is to the breadwinners ;
2. It has to do with the time spent at that particular sector.

If you want a feng shui friendly method (without resorting to the use of ba gua mirror) then my suggestion is to use a semi-circular carpet radiating outwards of the main entrance door.
Do take note of the following: What is the element of the beam? If it is mostly made of concrete, then, you should introduce the wood element. Thus, the carpet should be green.
