Apologies for the delay in reply.
Usually, I ponder over questions ... especially if I am unsure about how to reply.
If you can have a sketch of the layout it would be of great help. This is because, I feel that the placement of the bed based on good interior shapes and form should outweigh that of placement to benefit the person.
For example, where possible, the bed should be placed on the opposite wall of the bedroom door.
In addition, it should not be placed on the same wall as the toilet area.
After considering the above main considerations and some other factors, then, it would be " nice to have " the bed and how one sleeps, face the directions, you have mentioned.
