Dear Samantha,
Congratulations!
What you had mentioned is not Feng Shui but Chinese `belief' that when one
is pregnant, one must not move the furniture especially your bed.
To ward off bad influence, usually, the case is for an expecting mum not to
be present during the move or to `see' the move.
Put it another way, you should not be involved (in anyway) on the day of the
move i.e stay at your parents or other family members home during the shift.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

>I am expecting a baby in October and my husband and I are building a new
house which will be ready to move into before the birth. I have read it is
not good to move house whilst pregnant. Is this true and if so, what can I
do to ward off any bad feng shui?
