Dear Yuki,
1. This issue is currently too `complex' to pinpoint on which theory can be effectively be used to help you as very little is known.
2. Even if full audit is done, it may not necessay help, as human relations are complex subjects even, Organizational Behaviour specialists (Human Resource) are still looking into.
3. Another situation is the Human Relations concept of `peer pressure'. In Organisation Behaviour studies, it was found that collagues use peer pressure to get their colleagues to `conform' (if they can).
Here, if a `worker' can do more work than others, in time, he or she conforms to the group by working at the same speed.
The above, may or may not be true for all occupations etc... Some of these are documented cases such as the Hawthorne experiments etc...
For example, if one is too hardworking and outshines others, your colleagues may feel `threatened'. Thus, most likely `back stabbing occurs'.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
P.S. above are my personal opinions through previous studies on OB etc.. thus, there are many, more concepts etc...
