Frankly, it is difficult for me to fully visualise what u mean. If would be nice if you have a sketch or some pictures of it.
As you mentioned that your house is on top of a hill, Feng Shui (and `commonsense approach' would suggest that the house is on firm foundations and surroundings do not have soil erosion or protected from soil erosion.
At a hill, it is best that there should be `forestation' or plants especially if the house is the top most house.
Other than that, it is difficult for me to comment further.
