For TV's and other electrical items, currently there are three views on
this:-
1. Electricity is considered a water element because of its " fluid "
nature for example we can visualise them like " watercourses " i.e. the flow
of electricity through the wires.
2. It can be used to `block' or `neutralise' bad ch'i because it has
magnetic properties. For example when we hold a compass to a wire, the
compass needle is attracted to the wire.
3. One practioner said that para 2 is all nonsense! She concluded that when
Feng Shui was `born' there was no electricity. So she reasoned that this is
not true.
My own belief is that I would like to believe in Para 1 and 2. Para 1,
electricity under current Feng Shui practise, many Masters/Practioners plus
a few Feng Shui Authors do equate electricity with the " Water " element.
These Feng Shui Practioners then apply the Feng Shui " Water Dragon Classics
" theory when reviewing the landscape based on this. A short extract of
the book of Water Dragon Classics is under this link
http://www.3dglobe.com/fs/wclassic.htm and some of the theories of the
Water Dragon Classics is applied in http://www.3dglobe.com/fs/wcourse.htm
As for your question on:-
> ANY IDEAS FOR ENHANCING CAREER AREA AND MY CAREER ARE IS CUT OFF BY A
WALL..I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AND MY HALL WAY MAKES MY CAREER AREA VERY
SMALL. I WILL ADD MIROOERS AND CRYSTELS PLEASE HELP
Frankly, many have got the wrong idea that since there is a Feng Shui Theory
called the Eight Associations, your career corner is definitely in the
North. I mentioned that career sector is of secondary importance after many
other traditional Feng Shui theories has been taken into consideration such
as the Flying Star Theory.
Secondly, the Eight Associations so called " career corner " is too general
to be taken seriously by MANY. Robert, will be coming up with a more
accurate Eight Associations soon that will take into consideration your KUA
number. This is more accurate than the notion that All career corners at
e.g. at the North.
Fast Food Feng Shui is where we simply go to find our elusive Career or even
Wealth corner and not knowing little else. Like the saying goes " a little
knowledge is a dangerous thing ". In fact, the reason why I mentioned this
is that for today alone, I have answered at least 3 e-mails asking me on
this.
The question was:-
>my house faces north and my date of birth is 14th february 1947 - where is
>the wealth corner of my home
My reply to this person:-
Frankly, there is no such thing as finding out our wealth corner (if there
is a wealth corner). This belongs to the category of " Fast Food Feng Shui"
i.e. anybody's guess.
Let's not be too hasty and jump to find our " elusive wealth corner " first
without looking at the overall on Feng Shui. Lets get our basics correct on
Feng Shui and this will be a good foundation in obtaining our `wealth or
career' sectors.
