I share a house with my sister who is a non-believer. We have a mountain star available in our kitchen at the North. I can not convince her to have a picture of a mountain on the wall, and she will not have a shelf. It depicts a bamboo plant, and I think a water lily. Could the plate be sufficient to activate the star? My other thought is I could buy a crystal 3040 cm, either cut or uncut and hang it high on the wall. Will either of these options be sufficient to active the mountain star? My other question is should one only activate mountain stars if they are in an auspicious sector?
