Dear Marjorie,
1. For those who are family with fixed template models with characteristis such as Fame / Travel etc...
2. Authentic Traditional Feng Shui sites like this does not use such `Ba gua models'.
3. For those who are new, can check out some of the older links:-
https://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm
4. This link helps you when you are using an ordinary compass:-
https://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-cecilcompass.htm
5. Overall, it is very difficult to comment on just a few general sentences. But, in general, a water position directly behind the house usually services as a `handicap' or a single leak.
6. If there are more `leaks' in the home, then, it usually piles up to a prelude to financial/wealth woes or marriage problems.
7. Under the external Shapes and Forms model, it is a disadvantage to have a water position at the WEST compass direction of the house. This is symbolic of an open tiger mouth (which represents it's eagerness to swallow up something).
8. Why not try to explore further key Feng Shui theories further before applying them.
9. As much as all of us are eager to apply immediately, unless, one is blessed with good guidance else, too little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
