Dear Steve,

There are many form of auspicious numbers:-

1. 666 if you look at it in hokkien is 6 = luck so it is luck luck luck.

2. Some like to go by like 8 (fa - wealth)

3. Another way is by luck number and calcultion based on your gua just as in the example shown in this url:-

4. Some by meaning of the number. 4 may be (die in cantonese), but to the westerners 4 is used by like 4 leave clover which is lucky. So all these really depends on how much you believe.

I think you should go for what you feel is good for you. 666 sounds like an auspicious number to me.

5. Probably other ways to improve your luck lies with enhancing your favourable element based on your ba zi.

Like a weak wood would need water, so a blue colour car will help.
