Here are the points to note:-
1. It is still best to avoid painting the main entrance door at the West
this year. Although this is not as bad as offending the Tai Shu which is at
the East this year, the West is called the 3 killings.
If you really want to, you can still repaint the West. If you are not in a
hurry, perhaps, you can do it after the next Chinese New Year.
2. The House is considered overall as a Metal House. In such a situation, it
has not much impact on your Strong Earth. The best colour to avoid for a
Strong Earth is Red, Pink or Purple (which belongs to the Fire element).
2.1 Under the Productive Sequence of the 5 elements concept, Fire enhances
Earth and as you are a strong Earth person, try to avoid the Fire element.
2.2 Under the Destructive Sequence of the 5 elements concept, Wood destroys
Earth. Since you are a Strong Earth person, some wood would be good to
control the Strong Earth.
Normally, it is still best that you know the Flying Star numbers at the Main
Entrance to see if there is any impact on it with relation to the type of
Flying Stars at the location.
If not, in general, you should avoid painting the front door pink, red or
purple or any of the range of such colours. Here there are two caution:-
1. Pink, Red or purple are of the Fire Element and is no good for your
Strong Earth.
2. Fire element also destroys Metal element. Here, it would also have to
depend on the type of Flying Stars at the location. Fire may inadvertently
weaken the Metal element i.e. the Main Entrance door position.
The best colours at this point in time, is to paint the wall at the main
entrance: White (Metal element) or Light Green. (Green represents Wood and
it is good as it will weaken your Strong Earth making it more `neutral'. But
I still feel white would be best for a West door location. The ideal door is
for you to use natural wood colours e.g. varnished wood door or brown
coloured door.
Brown or wood is a good choice as it will neutralise or weaken your Strong
Earth.. making it` more neutral '.
For your NW bedroom, you can use neutral White. But if you want to
neutralise some of your Strong Earth, you can paint the room light green.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
