Dear Kathy,
1. Priority is still to place the bed in the most favourable direction, first. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui.
2. Is it possible for you to `shield' your husband i.e. if the sector is not as favorable to him, you sleep closer to it, while your husband sleeps further away.
In my opinion, it is difficult to realistically try to focus on a location using exact compass degree. As there is fixed space within a bedroom.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
