If it is a solid object (with mass, not hollow and non-moveable e.g. without any wheels, sometimes, a heavy object can be used as to activate a mountain star (if found) under the Flying Star Feng Shui.

For surgery, especially if it is a competent surgeon, best to leave it to the surgeon to arrange the best timing.
