Dear Anon,
Single stretch of load bearing wall which looks like beams is considered `sha qi'.
However, do take note that:-
1. If one does not sit under it, there is relatively no issue.
For beams, if one sits below it for more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours each day for a year, the `effects' (negative) can be felt.
2. Do take note that multiple beams that are close to each other e.g. 1 feet interval or less and lots of it that looks like stripes do not pose a problem.
Only single beams should be considered.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
