Dear Anon,
Under the Eight House or East/West 4 persons concept, priority should (where ever possible) be given to sleeping in a good sector.
And only after this, then it is nice to have one sleeping in a good direction.
Since, most of us have already moved in or impossible to change rooms etc.. there is not much more than what one can do or `squeeze' out this concept.
To improve one's luck further, it is best to use other concepts - instead.
