If my favouarable element is Earth, Metal, or Fire as I am a strong wood person,will I  be fine and safe although getting influence by Bad flying stars such as Five Yellow (earth element) , 7 Violent star (metal element)?

I just found out that even though I am born in the year of the Earth Pig, I am Strong Metal. This web site does not tell me what the weak element is. But it says my good luck elements are Water and Fire, in that order. What is the meaning of "too much metal can destroy you"? And besides dress color, what else can I do to enhance water and fire? Now I have a question about 0% element.  I am a weak yang fire person with 0% wood and 54 % earth.  Does 0% mean that I will never be able to acquire it or learn it?  And because of that I will never be able to enhance my fire element.  Please advise.

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend who is 'strong earth' for 1 year plus.. our love is there and everything is good between us.no quarrels. However, i felt something wrong with myself physically and mentally all along. I seem to lose myself and unconsciously keep stressing my mind and being. It seem to be out of my control. My eyes are kind of different and I felt like i'm trapped in my body.always seem to be fighting with myself .There is tightness in my mind too.. I can feel some internal heat as well,in my body and head. This feeling of not being me is affecting me in all aspect, even exercising as i seem to be unable to 'feel myself' and easily injured my eg knees. It doesn't seem to be a health problem. My flat have  1/4 missing corner at SE  and 1/2 at E. Is this missing corner is a significant fengsui implication?

We are building a house.  Based on my birthday (11/29/1958), my best direction will be NorthWest (Excellent).  However, the front door of the house is facing South (Death), but the garage door is facing West (Properity).  We plan to use the garage door to enter the house instead of the front door and use the front door occasionally for guests.  In this case, will it diminish the bad factor of the front door since it is facing South?  Is there anything else that we can do make it better or do we have to sell the house?  Please let us know.

Also, how does sound (as in the windchime) affect the 5 elements?

Talking about mirrors? How exactly do they work? For example, the convex mirrors deflect shar chi, but does it also deflect auspicious chi?

Forgive me I am new and trying to learn My house was built in 1981, After a fire built original back in 1800. Stove was changed in in 1998, I moved in in July 2005. Will this affect the house Direction? House direction is SE-2 Many mountains surrond, in Berkshires of US. KUA 2 Female, 8 Feb 1960. time of birth 3:27 Am Fire lady! I read a few books on Ba Zi analysis recently, but unfortunately none seems to illustrate Earthly Branch (EB) clashes well. Most just show examples of clash, and teach you how to detect one if present.  

I would like to know what is the impact on the Self element when there are Earthly Branch clashes found in the Ba Zi? I can see that a clash may sometimes help to remove undesirable elements, hence making Self strong (which would otherwise be weak if there were no clashes found).

But, does a EB clash simply implies that the elements that were involved are "destroyed"? If we proceed to determine the strength of Self from here, do we exclude these "destroyed" elements from the picture? Thank you.

Hi,  I am writing to seek your advise with regards to my house main door which was full of clusters from my next door neighbour.

1.Pots of Hanging plants up the ceiling - almost dried up & dead plants in front of her main door.( which is near my window )

2.A cupboard full of small /chipped potted plants on the top of the cupboard with shoes inside & outside on the left side of her door (which is right below my window.)

3. And to the right side of her door where all her shoes are placed on her rack with at least 10 pairs of shoes & small pots of potted plants above .inclusive of all sorts of animal figurines (dogs/birds/snail/turtle), & a broom with dustpans.( which is opposite by window )

4. And lastly > beside all her shoes there is a dustbin full of dirt/dried leaves which stretch directly opposite my main door entrance.

Appreciate your help if something can be done to remedy these bad effects.

I am moving to a new house that appears to suit my husband and I.  The main doors are on the west and northwest of the house, and the rear of the house/yard is east facing.  Both my husband and I are weak wood element, so we should do well with many water elements.

We will be moving our koi with us, and it seems that the most auspicious place to have a koi pond is in the East or Southeast area of the property.  However, as far as I understand, water features should be in the front of the house, not in the back.  I have a small space in the front yard, but I would prefer to have the pond in the back yard since it is much larger and I will not have to worry about people coming into my yard possibly taking my fish!  So what where is the best place for the pond...in Northwest front of the home, or in the East/Southeast rear of the home?

1. House is build in say Period 7 ( Seven) , But Flying Star Anlysis is done in Period 8 (Eight) . Now at this time 7 will be good star or faded star. ( What I mean is take 7 star as auspious in flying star and place no cures or treat as faded star in period 8  and if required place cure).

2. in flying star analysis some author says only see the interaction between

a) Water & Mountain Star

b) Earth & Water Star

c) All Three ( here lies the difficulty that sometimes when you take all the three stars combination becomes very confusing . Then What ?)

 May I know more about the triple combinations and what does it mean? Eg. this triple combinations of Base Star, Mountain Star and Water Star (BS9, MS3, WS6) neutralises the inauspicious influence created by the Flying Star. Thus, this is considered an auspicious combination. Right! No doubt there is no mountain star and/or no water star to activate.

As the triple combinations is considered an auspicious, why can't a mountain star and/or water star can be activate at this sector.

 Hi, I found this ba zhi element at your web and it helped a lot. Thanks.  From here, i knew that my hubby is weak fire (Kua 8) , my son is weak Fire (Kua 7) and myself is weak water (Kua 8).  However looking at the five element, could you advise me on the following:

1. Based on the nine grid line, our bedroom is in the SE, S & SW grid line whereby the bed is located at SW sector facing W.  As far i know, SW is earth and W is metal.  What will happen to my hubby is a weak fire sleeping at this sector Earth Weakens Fire which mean not favour to him .  For my self weak water, Earth control water. Even poor thing.  Please tell us waht to do?

2. The house is sitting at North and Main door is facing S2/3. Our main door is located at SE sector and SE is our dealth direction but SE is wood and dealth direction is metal means Wood produces Fire ( this would favor my hubby) and Fire control Metal to control the impact of total loss of descendants.  Is this make sense?  Or shall we relocate the main door at S or SW sector?

3. If we relocate the main door at SW sector, Looking out from the main door's right side is an electrical pole, is this a sha qi because it is not direct facing to the main door?

Goodmorning, Well, to use the theory of the five elements in feng shui, we need to understand the relationship of each of the elements, right? To come across of :-

Productive = Water -> Wood -> Fire -> Earth -> Metal (to strengthen) and

Destructive = Water -> Fire -> Metal -> Wood -> Earth (to overcome and control).

What is the Exhausting cycle = Water -> Metal -> Earth -> Fire ->Wood. Does it's mean as the opposite of Destructive. I am quiet confused here.

Iam a strong earth which mean I have to increase metal element.

Need your advice and please enlighten me.

I don't know whether should I consider this a low floor to use my hall windows as main door. Secondly, can I get the facing of my main door by standing right at my door looking outside? I will be staying in Yishun Emerald in May 05. Bought it from a Bank Sale. So need your help to counteract against all the "Sha Chi". Our windows are facing an open field and overlooking Sembawang airbase. Fortunately, back facing MRT, no track noise.

I am Kua No. 2. My door facing NE and all my windows facing SW. It seems good for me but all disasterous for my wife who is Kua No.3. The only position we could place our bed is the NW which is also not my wife 'good' position.

We are wondering if a remedy in one sector can affect the stars in adjacent sector. For example, we placed a metal wind chime in the Northwest sector (our family room) to control the annual #5 (we have a little fan so the wind chime makes sound all the time). In the North sector (our dining area), we have the lucky #8 water star. The problem is that there is no wall separating the family and dining area, so we can hear the metal sound everywhere. So even though the wind chime is physically in the Northwest sector, can the metal sound weaken the #8 water star in the North sector?

     A follow up to my question: i.e if I have a year sign of a metal monkey but my day stem have an earth element, how do i choose a compatible mate?  a) Do I have to choose someone who have a water or earth sign to match it with my metal monkey, or b) Do I have to choose someone who have a metal or fire sign to match it with my day stem element which is an earth element.  ( If you make an analysis of the situation - the compatibility of my metal element?) So which is more important?

     If the day stem is more important than the year element in choosing a compatible mate, do I have to look for somebody based on their day stem or majority of their element?  i.e. my day stem is earth, do I have to lookd for someone who have a water or fire in their element?  Or someone who have majority element of water or fire eventhough their day stem is not water or fire?

I am interested to know more about the five elements.  How important are they compared with the animal horoscope?  How do you choose a compatible mate - do you base the compatibility on the animal year sign? how do you rate the importance? - or do you base the compatibility on the element sign for the year? i.e. I am a water rat, which is compatible with dragon.  Do I have to choose a metal dragon?  I guess he is too old for me.

Although I am a water rat, based on your reading I have a strong earth sign.  Does it mean, that I will not be good in real estate business or a construction business?  It shows me in advantage if I work more on my metal and wood sign, which is accounting, finance, or investment.  I love to open a dress, household or knitting factory, design new items for home, buy and sell computer and communication gadgets, and invest my money on real estate.  But per your reading, none of them are favorable.  Or does it mean the other way, since I have a strong earth sign, I will be good in real estate business.  Please explain.

We live in a two-story house. To counteract bad star combinations and/or annual stars in a given sector, should we place remedy (say a salt water cure) on both floors, or is a single remedy on the ground floor is adequate? Appreciate your advice.

Hi there! I am Ming Le. I am new here. I just would like to ask how to reverse the bad effect. I was borned on 21 Nov 1985 in the snake hour. I was currently staying in the East sector of the room, which i know its not good for me. I do not have much choice to where i can sleep at as there are only 2 rooms in the apartment and both are bad for me(the other one room is at the south east of the apartment). I am also confused where should i be facing to study even though i know my best direction. Please help me! Thanks!
