I would like to remind all users once again, that this is a general free advise forum and not a free (paid) consultation service especially on personal ba zi or home / home office.

1. POSTINGS THAT WILL BE IGNORED OR MOVED, HERE

What we consider consultation. Anything that we need to work out for you in order to advise you.

ie. I am born on 1 Jan 1970, is this house suitable to me?

ie. My date of birth is 1 Jan 1970, how can I improve my luck?

ie. My house is facing SE1 and my dob is 1 Jan 1970, how can I improve my wealth.

Anything, that expects us to do a calculation for you in order to answer your questions are generally considered that you are seeking personal consultation. We already provded such tools available for you to be able to check it out. So use them.

Basically, posting your date and time of birth, the house facing information, or any pre-analysed chart such as flying star chart number are all considered pre-analysed. Meaning that when we see it we need to analyse it before we can give advise.

What information is considered pre-analysed? Simply anything common information that is requested by our free calculators (ie date and time of birth, facing direction).

For example, if you say you are a Kua 8 or Strong water, I will know immediately what directions are suitable for you etc. But if you tell me only your date and time of birth, I will need to calculate that information to derive your Kua 8 and element before being able to give you advise.

I am beginning to see lots of users beginning to do this. So I will have to be strict on this. Otherwise, it will only encourage more users to just post the questions instead of using the various tools available to help them.

 2. DO A SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST A NEW MESSAGE

This forum contains over 8 years (and more) of forum posts. Many questions that are commonly being asked have beeny answered. So if you can do a simple search before you post, you might find the answers you are looking for.

Doing so will help reduce duplicate questions being posted, and also make it easy for us to attend to more different questions so that other users can benefit. So please do a search before you post. Often the answers you are looking for has been asked by other users.

3. POSTING THAT WILL RECEIVE A REPLY

Free advise means that if you provide us with your problem and information about it, we can guide you on how you may correct or fix up this problem.

ie. I am facing my disaster direction, what can I do about it.

ie. I am a weak water, and I am in an IT, is it suitable to me?

Question such as the above are what we consider that you have done some homework on checking up your personal information and thus having some doubts on applying or correcting it. Thus, you will likely get a reply from us as we try our very best to answer all the post when we can.

 4. WHEN WILL MY POST BE ANSWERED

We normally try to set aside sometime each week to answer your questions. How much we can answer depends on the complexity of the questions etc. So more simple to answer or very straight forward questions will normally have faster response. So we go by that order.

Due to the many many questions posted, I am afraid it is very very difficult for us to ensure that all questions can be answered. Those that we missed or not yet answered, we apologise for that. If you still have a question not yet answered, best way for us to noticed it is just post a follow up post to push the message up.

Also, depending on our availability, we may not have time to answer all post at a go. So need to break them up into a few sessions to reply. So give us sufficient time to reply.

DOB: 2nd Aug 1971  (according to four pillar + hidden elements all elements were quite balance).  I am a marginal strong earth.  Where my favourable elements would be Metal and Water.

1.  I have been to name stroke analysis and they said I have total 27 strokes and not good according to their books and I did not change so I just take it lightly.

2.  Then after few years been to a different fortune teller and name analysis they said my pillar lack of something like water according to their calculation.  So they recommended to add my middle name with Kim (in chinese Gold) next to (Nyuk).  So I agreed for the recommendation.

3.  Recently been to a temple and have asked the medium and they said the name "Kim and Nyuk" together is good but too heavy.

We are constructing a new house this year facing North and sitting in South. My husbands date of birth is 29 th July 1971  and mine is 18th July 1977. The ground breaking will be in April and keys will be handed somewhere i September. Is north direction okay as this is the year of Ox. Please advice?

Master Lee, I have two choices in facing directions for house construction. This thread will be: For a Period 8 S3 facing N3 sitting house: 1. Can I put a staircase in the East to suppress bad stars? The East sector has the 2m 5w and 6b stars. 2. The NW sector of the house has the 5m 2w and 9b stars. I have no idea what room to put here because of all the bad stars? Pls suggest. Is it okay to put maids room with T&B? 3. I plan to put a Kitchen in the West in the 1st floor. I also plan to put the masters bedroom on the 2nd floor on top of the Kitchen. Is that ok? I chose the West for the masters bedroom because of the auspicious stars 8m 8w and 1b. 4. On the 2nd floor, the bedrooms will be on the West, East and South because all of these sectors have the most auspicious stars. My only problem here is the masters bedroom which is located on the West - it will be on top of the Kitchen which is located in the 1st floor. Hi all,

I am fairly new to flying star and am trying to practise the interpretation. I am posting my analysis here so that the gurus in this forum can perhap comments and tell me whether I am on the right track.

My house is in period 7 and NW3 facing (though it's border line as my front door is around 337.5). Assuming that, below are the flying stars:

NW (7M8T9W)
N (2M3T4W)
NE (9M1T2W)
E (4M5T6W)
SE (5M6T7W)
S (1M2T3W)
SW (3M4T5W)
W (8M9T1W)
Center (6M7T8W)

I know this year (2009) Tai Suai is in NE1, 5 Yellow in North and 3 killings in the East.

So first of all for the Tai Suai, we don't usually sit facing that direction so I am thinking that I do not need to do much. Is that right? At most, I am thinking of putting a Pi Yao facing that direction.

For the 5 Yellow, 2 is earth and both water (4) and time (3) flying star is wood. Is it correct for me to interpret that 2 is illness star? Since wood destroy earth, should I leave it alone and not place any cure? or do I put still water as cure?

Lastly, the 3 killings has mountain star 4 which is wood and water star 6 is metal and the unlucky 5 is earth. Since wood destroys earth (again), do I again leave it alone or do I have to use water to dissolve any afflictions or use metal wind chime to enhance the earth?

My kua number is 4 but I do not know at this stage whether I should bring this into consideration.

Also, I do not know how I should include the annual flying star in the consideration.

Appreciate if someone can enlighten me on how I should be do the interpretation and where I might have gone wrong in the interpretation.

The masterbedroom in front on the second level is for the husband and wife. The son stays in the other room behind. According to your reports, The Husband's sleep position is opposite the Wife's. So according to you advise previously, the husband should get his best sleep position which is NW or West. But Cannot put NW so put W . West is the Wife's death position and also leg facing window. So is it alright? Maybe the house is East facing can help the wife in this situation? Also, I have no idea how to classify the position of the bedrooms since is is half the second floor. please advise.

First of all, I must thank you & Robert for providing such a comprehensive on-line FengShui platform which could generate DIY Fengshui reports and learning platforms. I only stumbled on your website recently. I wished I had learned of this site much earlier,amazed that its been around for 10 long years !!

I have used the on-line tools to generate the Fengshui reports including Eight House & Flying Star Chart .  I am learning and trying to apply cures which I learned from reading the numerous threads in your forum but I'm not very sure on its application to my case. And whether my interpretations are correct. Would very much appreciate your guidance/advice. 

I  am a 1-KAN Strong Yin Water person living in a Period 7,  NE3-facing high floor HDB apartment which has alot of illness/misfortune/disputes stars at the following sectors affecting health and disputes/possible law suits which I'm very concerned. 

1. SE Sector (My Bedroom,Kua 1-KAN Strong Yin Water) Stars M3-W2-B6  Yr9 Mth1 : Looks bad with the Yr#9 aggravating #2 illness star. Would a small ionizer which generates -ve ions be effective to cure W2 & M3 stars? is this sufficient ? I read somewhere that one should avoid GREEN colour in the bedroom with #3 star. Does this apply in this case as my Most Favourable Colour is GREEN/wood. I used green bedlinen. I also sometimes wear green for luck. I especially want to neutralize disputes/lawsuits and improve sickness.

2. E Sector ( Bedroom,Kua 3-CHEN,Strong Yin Earth) Stars M2-W3-B5 Yr8 Mth9 : 2-3-5 here are very bad stars - illness, disputes, misfortune. But then the Yr & Mth stars of 8 & 9( current prosperity & future prosperity respectively) are supposed to be auspicious ? - can the year/mth stars 8 & 9 neutralize the 2-3-5 bad stars ? if so, its only for this yr2008. Then should an ionizer or hulu be used ? as 6-coin metal cure will not be strong enough to cure the #5 base star?

3. S Sector ( Bedroom, Kua 2-KUN,Weak Yin water) M8-W6-B2 Yr5 Mth6 : the base star#2 and Yr#5 are nasty. Can the auspicious M8 & W6 neutralize B#2 & Yr#5 ? or do we need a cure here ? use ionizer here ? or 6 coins ?

4. SW Sector ( Bedroom Kua 8-GEN Strong Yang water ) M1-W4-B4 Yr7 Mth8 : Double 4 here, does it mean very bad scandals/lawsuit ? Also 7 loss of wealth.  What cures required?

5. NE Sector ( Living room)  :  Stars M7-W7-B1  Yr4  Mth5 - Can I use Water( table water feature?) to drown the M7 & W7 ? what about B1 & Yr4 - I read somewhere 1&4 is a bad combination ? What about the Mth#5 which flew into this sector for this month - is this bad & require disarming ?

6. N Sector (Dinning area & storeroom) :  Stars M9-W5-B3 Yr6 Mth7 - The 9-5-3 here looks bad as 9 will fuel the misfortune star5. And base 3 is disputes. Do I use metal Wind Chime here - maybe hang from the ceiling ?

7. NW Sector ( Kitchen & partial Toilet) : Stars M5-W9-B8 Yr2 Mth3 - Again the M5 & W9 is very nasty-aggravated misfortune/illness and Yr2 illness. For kitchen what kind of cure is suitable here ?

8. W Sector ( service balcony & partial Toilet) : Stars M6-W8-B9 Yr3 Mth4 - 6-8-9 looks like an auspicious combination. Is this considered Wealth area? Can I add water here to take advantage of the wealth stars( would water affect the Yr star#3 ? (by the way, the washing machine is located in this area) or hang something on the wall to activate the current and future prosperity stars ? However, this is also my Disaster Sector based on Eight-House, what kind of cure is more appropriate here ?

9. Center Sector (living room & partial bedroom) : Stars M4-W1-B7 Yr1 Mth2 - Here 4 & 1 combination = scandals/lawsuit and 7 = loss of wealth. What cure can I use here ?

10. Also is there any cures that can neutralize the bad influence due to my health line trespassing through the wall-mount LCD TV in the east wall of the living room. There is no other appropriate place that we can place the LCD TV.

Sorry the above is kinda long but I'm very keen to resolve the problems afflicted by these bad stars. Hope you can help.

I just want to make sure that putting metal element like brass/bronze sculptures or moving metal in my bedroom sector located in E3 is okay. My birth element is strong fire and I am an earth monkey. Our house is period 6 facing W3. My bedroom sector's water star is 2, my mountain star is 6 and my base star is 4.

Please advice is putting metal element to diffuse the #2 star is okay given all the numbers above.

TW, what is the significance of the base star in flying stars natal chart?

Greetings.

I am in deep trouble at office. Although I am expert in my work and giving my best at office. Things are getting worst day by day.  I am a Disputes Analyst working with a bank.  Every month we get ratings on the basis of  customer servey response we receive. In order to survive for the job, one needs to have good ratings. But for the past 3-4 months , it just got worst for me.  In my office I face east while sitting and I sit in northern area of the building.

In our home , we have kitchen in north east area. We have also placed a shoe rack in north area which is also a terrace. We have an adjoining room to this terrace which is a living room and we also have small place of worship in this room where we keep all our religious statuaes. Ironically there is only a wall between this small temple and shoe rack.  Sometime I really feel to put this shoe rack some where else , but it is not possible.

Cecil please advise me. At this point of time , retaining this job is very essential for me in order to support my family.

I have a square bedroom that's also my study place, it's 3,3 meters on each side (around 11 feet) and 2,5 meters tall (8 feet). It has a door that opens towards the bedroom on the far left of the north side, and a window facing the south, and a wooden floor. Here's a rough sketch of my bedroom:

- a bed for two (preferably a very low bed, that would turn into a sofa during the day, to save some space) - a short study table, to keep my laptop on it, and my amplifier under it. - a comfortable chair to fit the table (very important since I spend a lot of time at my desk) - two bookshelf speakers (that should both be the same distance from the computer table) - a nightstand and a small dresser - a lot of flower pots (I'm planning of turning my room into a real garden) - around 5-6 flower pots with various plants: a 12 year old lemon tree, some short flowers and 2-3 passifloras (climbing plants).

I would also like to place a large mirror on one of the walls, to make the room feel larger, and I'd really appreciate your advice on which colors to choose for the walls / ceiling / bed and furniture - to go with the plants, and the overall fresh and empowering feel I want to give my room.

Dear Sir:

I would like to seek advise regarding our lot and I hope you won't mind me asking about it.  It seems to be simple and normal without the consideration of one's Gua and House Gua.  We bought this property so we can build our house and during the time we bought this property I have no idea about Gua until this year when I was making my drawings and at the same reading Feng Shui books of Ms. Lillian Too and Mr. Charlie Chao.  In short, all of us in the family are East Person.based on our Gua.  Actually, it's I who is reading and very much interested in learning feng shui for our house because I believe the good benefits of feng shui and if I can incorporate it in our lives it can bring luck and harmony.  I am in my best way that I know doing my own research to understand more.  Frankly, budget wise, everything is tight right now so I want to plan and make projections.  My husband retired recently from work so I have to spend wisely and can't afford to waste everything.  This house we are planning to build meant so much to us and I wanted to do it right with feng shui.  Simple and practical is all that we want.  

Attached herewith is our lot plan.  I noticed that our lot is facing East 3 (Yi) at 99o37 therefore it is sitting West.  In this case our lot is a West Lot, right?  Then comes my problem. We are all East Group of People. Sorry if I will mention our birthdates.  Based on our gregorian or western calendar our birthdates are:  My Husband Sept 27, 1951 at 1:00 p.m.; Myself March 7, 1967 at 1:52 p.m.; My son Nov 21, 1991 at 12:40 a.m.; My mom Aug 7, 1941 and my aunt July10, 1949.  Our Gua are 4, 9, 9, 1, 9 which belongs to the East Group. 

My question is this which is my major concern.  Can I orinet when building our house to face South which is an East House to make our house and lot suitable and comaptible for us to live in being an East Group of people?  Also, I have noticed that the land terrain of our lot sloped that fits the North - Tortoise, West - Tiger, East - Dragon, South - Phoenix principle.  The lot on the North side is a bit higher than the South Side.  The West Side is a bit lower than the East Side where the road is located.  The road is slowly sloping a bit downwards.  As you can see in my drawings, I plan to put up our house in the inner portion of the lot so the tiger side will be smaller that the dragon side.  If my plan is acceptable then the maindoor is facing south 3 - Ting at 190o23 and the back door is at the North which makes my house a Kan House belonging to an East House Group. 

The distance between the maindoor and the wall will be 2.15 meters.  Will  this be acceptable? 

The proposed house is a rectangular 2 storey measuring  8 meters x 11 meters floor size.

Then I plan to have a secondary door facing East. 

In my sketch you can also find where will be the garage and the gate. 

Please advise and make comments because this greatly affects all our plans.

Ever since shifting here I have been beset with one problem after another, mostly related to health, finance, too much expenditure and career wise ( reputation). On the free section of this site, I did a house number analysis, and this is what came up House Number : #1050-0 House Period : 7 (1984-2003) 81 Interpretation [3] & [6] - Lawsuit, injury to hands and legs. I stay in a rented accomodation of flats, in Sector A Pocket B&C House number 1050. I have been planning to move into C6 6511, the analysis of which says House Number : #6511-0 House Period : 7 (1984-2003) 81 Interpretation [1] & [6] - Power and Authority (Especially good for police or uniformed personnel). My kitchen is in the # 5 centre of my home.  Does this affect my health and well being ie., draining away my energy?  If so, what remedies /cures would support this area?  (PS: I have chronic fatigue)!

My bedroom is located in the WNW location which for me is "death".  I have my bed position facing North (longevity).  What remedies can I use to protect my health?
