Name Analysis Please

Using the traditional writing, my first name consist of 15 strokes, and my last name consist of 10 strokes.

Using simply writing, my first name consist of 10 strokes, and my last name consist of 7 strokes.

According to Personal Ba Zi / Feng Shui Element Report, I am a "weak wood + water rat" per my lunar birthdate. And "strong metal + water rat" per my western birthdate.

Please analysis my name (I reallyd don't know whether we have to use the traditional or simply writing). Also, I don't know whether for the personal report, we need to use either lunar or western birthdate.

If the analysis is not as good, what would you do to improve it?

HI, I plan to go to a fengshui master to change my husband name. Because we experience all that we or he want to do, every time feel like blocked by something that we can not see. No matter how complete the documents, no matter how hard we work, but if it related to him it will be blocked and we have to find a way out and notmally took us a very long time to reach to the "destination" and alot of struggling and money, efforts, times. And the problem only exist if the things we do is involved his name or involving him.

I do not have chinese name because my parent believe chinese name need a special advice which not available in my hometown. And my husband chinese name is given without any fengshui or special advice from an expert. Do you have any suggestion regarding our problem? Shall my husband proceed with the change of name plan?

Hi Master,

I dislike my chinese name but one feng shui masters claims that it has a good number of strokes altogether. All the while i never like to use it because it sounds cheap to me.

Even though my name has got a good number in terms of its strokes, should I change it because i feel that it is difficult to pronoun and these chinese characters doesn't sounds good to me?

Hi Master,

I would like to clarify some concepts.

1. If we were to change our name, after the change, if we do not use that name often, it would be effective. Meaning to say that if people call my Christian name instead of my Chinese name, it would not be effective.

2.I'm a weak wood. If I were to include the chinese character wood and water in my signature, does this help to enhance my wood and water element?

The word Yu means fish(water or sign of abundance) in chinese and Lee means fire as i the Li trig ram in the I-Ching. Does that mean these names were given to people to balance the missing element in their destiny chart or these are common chinese names. Thanks.

Dear Anon,

We have created this conference to discuss anything under the sun for the topic relating to chinese name analysis.

Besides Pillars of Destiny which takes into you account the date of birth, this utilises the chinese names (eg. Chen Tian Ming) to analyse the fortune and luck of a person.

It has been mostly used together with the Pillars of Destiny. This is because the name of a person is always called, thus for the chinese, if they lack a certain element, we can always change the name so that it does contain the element which they lacks to enhance their life.

However, this topic can only analyse the Chinese names and not english names.
