I want to make a new business. The business main core would be in graphic design and advertising. And for your info, this business is a one man show business for now. I don't know what it would be in the future. The problem now is, I can't figure out what element (color and shape) that fits me and my business. Because what I really hope for this business is not grow in size,but grow in profit.

Hi,   You classified "Entertainment" in Metal element jobs, what kinds of "entertainment" did you refer to? Could it be "actor, actress..." or  entertainment industry like bar/karaoke/disco..? And why perfume is considered metal element? Isn't it more like Earth or water or wood element instead?   Also in Earth element jobs, you stated "clothing" as in "making clothes" or "saling clothes"? I really want to know 'coz I'm intending to open a Clothing shop, but I'm guessing it may be Fire element instead.   Could you kindly explain to me please?

Hi Mr Lee,

I am in the financial advisory business and my office is located at gateway west. SInce we moved from Parkview square at north bridge road, business went down alot so I read up on fengshui and approached some shops at FuLuShuo for advice.  I applied the Bagua chart for my own desk as I do not have my own office or cubicle. I have attached the picture for your reference.I would like to know if anything needs to be changed as it's another year.  For me business went quite smoothly after I applied these items.

Please kindly advice, If you do need to take a look at the place what will be the charge.  I am really concerned about success in business this 2009.

I started a new business in early 2006 and things was quite good till we moved to a house at western side. My office is located in south side of this house. me & my husband are both western groups people and the front door of the house is facing west too.

Since we moved inot this house my business start having problems and no matter what we do to make it work everything start falling apart again.

I have applied feng shui to this house and put my desk facing northeast and I noticed a slight change but still  things not moving ahead.

The house was built in period 7 and my husband is strong fire. I was wondering if some one can advise me if there is something need to be done to this house.

I've just bought the Standard Ba Zi and understand it mentioned I am not suitable for career with power & authority unless constant contact with Metal.  Pls explain what it mean by this constant contact with Metal?  In this category includes real estate. In fact, I just started as part-time real estate agent 3 months ago.. Main door facing south-east the corner for prosperity.

My opposite neighbor (door to door) use 4 bricks and 6 bricks to make two rows with a metal plate on top, so that can put their flower pot on top.  2 years ago, my heart got pain I do ask them to change the metal plate to wood cos it looks like two arrows shooting in my house.  Unreasonable people answer back "come, make it back to me". I ignore them by cover up the gate with cover block.

Recently, the crazy wife use the 6 level shoes rack put her pair of shoes head pointing at my main door.  Today, I test her by puting my pair of shoe face her door, the result is she uses 2 pairs to face back. She KNOW........(sad).  But still place it.  Wicked.

And their money plant with a thin metal, on top of the metal put a dead crab shell, it head facing my main door. Don't know what are they up to this time ?????

I have the images of the front and back card designs in two colour choices red and white text or blue and white text. the front has the "DATE" logo in red on black card. the back is info in white and blue on black card. can the numbers 8888 be added to the card very faintly so you can just see it, or best not to have it at all?. (I was told that 8888 is very good to have for wealth.)

My new drink outlet (partnership) is scheduled for opening on 20 Aug 06. Its almost square in shape (a bit deeper in though) with a platform table (to place drinks for customers to take) covering the whole length of.the frontage. A swinging door can be opened on the right side of the platform table. Our company's name & logo signboard is placed on the wall right on top of the frontage.

I intend to place 2 thin menu light boxes (similar to two 24" LCD monitors) hanging down from the frontage ceiling, lowered to just above a normal person's head. There is a gap (about 10cm) between the menu light boxes. So the staffs will be standing behind the menu.

Is this placement bad? Or should I stick to a menu similar to that of KFC or Macdonalds?

Also, should I place the cash register in the middle or against the left wall (which is not the same side as the swinging door)?

Edited by Robert: Frankly, this may involve needing to review ie feng shui of your firm's office, ba zi etc before anyone can really properly advise you on how you can get out of your issue. As we are really busy as it is with many many such cases pending. I own a small real estate firm and to be honest business has been horrible lately. I have been struggling financially to keep the doors open for well over 2 years and I'm tired.  I can't seem to attract agents to my firm.   My office faces due West and is a yellow brick house which I converted to an office.  I am a weak water pig.  The office is located on a corner lot (not real busy street) with a church and parsonage directly across the side street.  I thought about putting a bagua outside but it seems to totally freek out a lot of people.  Plus someone would probably steal it.  Would mirrored wind chimes help ?

What would you suggest to encourage more agents to locate to my firm ?  I cleaned and decluttered and have done everything I can think of but nothing helps and things are getting worse as time goes by.

I sure hope you can help I'm getting desperate.  It's affecting both my health and other relationships.  I look forward to any and all advise you might have to offer.  I bought all your books and hope something in them can help.

Would like to confirm whose location should I choose for the shop. Should I choose a)the partner who handle more of the accounts or b)one that handle more of the connection of the wholesalers and handle goods (and also a florist) or c)one that sometime go oversea purchase goods. As base on salary each of them gets equal salary.

Apart of the concrete beam there is also a long pipe above the ceiling. The  cashier was not affected by the beam but more on the pipe. Is the pipe consider as a beam. Is yes, should I hang six coins at the pipe above the ceiling.

I would like to confirm the opening ceremony for our shop on 22nd January 2006 and refer to your forum  ritual "Initial Opening of Door for the first time" does that reflect to the shop as well. As procedure no 1 and no 2 does it, we have to call out "PING AN FA CHAI" then throw in PINEAPPLE (x1 pcs) and prepare RICE and GREEN BEANS. We did not proceed the procedure as I was away from the holiday and we had collected the key. Must I do it or sprinkle the rice and green beans on or before the opening ceremony of our shop.  Is there any alternative that we can, if we bring in the goods into the shop and do the above precedure ritual call out "PING AN FA CHAI ".   Hope you can give me some advice here.

 As shared partners in business. Partners is a Strong Wood, Weak Water and Strong Earth.

As strong wood person needs Fire and Metal. Weak water person needs Water and  Metal. Strong Earth person needs Wood and  Metal.  After much research,  I found  that  Metal  is the main element. As metal represents jobs/business ie. Accountancy, Jewelry, Entertainment, Hardware. Does it represent costume jewelry? The logo should it be Gold in colour and round in shape.

Hope you may give me some advice here.

 Would like to know by taking the luopan reading of the shoplot. I found that the reading is not accurate. By standing at the centre of the shop facing at the main door and by standing outside the main door 1 metre away it shown another reading. Do I take the reading by follow in which direction the main door is open. The building of the shoplot attached with the apartment. The shoplot is at 2nd floor. Must I take the reading from the ground floor as well. Attached the shoplot layout for your reference.
