myfs_103854
Dear Robert,Thanks for having this forum discussion. It has been a great help in understanding the report by just following the discussion forum. It would be greatly appreciated if you would kindly elaborate/explain some element combinations comments on my basic report as follows:1. combination / join of HS element can happen if the conditions are right. what are the right conditions for element to combine / join to form the new element?2. if the HS of day pillar combine with others, is the self element going to be the new resultant element or the original element?best regards. Staff Robert Lee Posted July 21, 2004 Staff Share Posted July 21, 2004 Hi Anon, Quote 1. combination / join of HS element can happen if theconditions are right.what are the right conditionsfor element to combine / join to form the new element? This depends on like the month whether the seasons are correct for the combination / join to form the new element. Some of these combination cannot fully convert to a new element if the season element isn't of the element that helps the binding to be complete. A brief example for example say Wood and Metal type element is trying to combine, unless the season or condition have for example Water, the combination may not be permanent. This is just an example of what I mean when a season needs to be right. There are of course a lot more all depends on situation. Usually, our analysis will already consider if this is ok, and then adjust accordingly.2. if the HS of day pillar combine with others, is theself element going to be the new resultant element or theoriginal element? For HS day pillar, if it does come to a situation where there is a such a combination, the original element ie you are determined to be a weak Wood, will not just change to the new combination element (ie Fire). So you will not just change from a Wood to a Fire person. However, it does mean that you might lose a lot of the element property of that day itself. So if say the day is Wood and it converts to Fire, then it will be a much weaker Wood then it would be. But your element will remain the same as the original element. It will not be changed to the new combination element.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert Lee Quote On 7/8/2004 11:21:43 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Robert,Thanks for having this forumdiscussion.
